A Visit to Hill Aerospace Museum

Two days ago we went with our little grandson, Logan, and his parents Erik and Cheryl to the Hill Aerospace Museum. It was very interesting. We saw all kinds of planes, helicopters, bombs, missiles, uniforms and historical artifacts from WWI on. We saw planes of all kinds all the way back to the Wright Brothers.

Here is Logan with his parents by Airforce One that was used by President Kennedy and Lady Bird Johnson.

Logan was allowed to step into one of the helicopters. He loves helicopters and has asked his Farfar (grandpa) to buy him one someday.

Logan is sitting in an ejection seat just like Dick Van Dyke used in Lt. Robin Crusoe, one of Logan's favorite movies.

Anna Made Me A Blue Bag

My daughter made me this fun bag for my birthday. I wanted a blue bag with long handles to wear when I have my jeans on. I love it! Can't wait till Friday, when I can take it to work with me. Fridays are casual days at work and we can wear nice jeans. You can go to Anna's blog to see some other bags she has made. She loves making bags, actually she is addicted to it, as she states on her blog.

One Year Older

It was my birthday two days ago. I had a great day. I took the day off from work and so did my husband. In the morning I read my daughter's blog and I started crying over all the nice things she said about me and the pictures she had posted. It sure was a great surprise. She is such a sweetheart and she is an example to me for her kindness, many talents, positivism, and beauty inside and out. We work at the same place and she also called me in the morning and put the phone on speaker and the people in the office all sang happy birthday to me. I could hardly speak for crying. I also got phonecalls from my son, daughter-in-law and little grandson as well as from friends, and several emails from co-workers.

In the afternoon my husband took me shopping and I got two pairs of jeans, two pairs of dresspants for work, and two tops. Then we went to dinner and after that we attended Brigham Young University's production of "Dial M for Murder." It was a fun and relaxing day and I enjoyed it a lot.
